Backyard Scavenger Hunt

Backyard Scavenger Hunt

We’re off on a scavenger hunt!

A great activity to get outside and explore, without straying too far from home. You could search in your backyard, or in a nearby park or bushland! How many from the list can you find?  See if you can find them all!

A great idea is to take a camera (with Mum or Dad’s help), so you can take photos of things you see that shouldn’t be touched (like animals or bugs). Why not use your leaves or stick as craft supplies too?

Our OSHC educators have extended the ‘My Time, Our Place’ curriculum philosophy of learning through play to lots of our online resources for children. For other great ideas to keep children busy, active, and entertained, visit our blog
