What are we looking for:
We are looking for people who are highly motivated, have great work ethic, work well in a team and love helping people of all ages to learn aquatic and water safety skills. Flexibility to work across our different Centres, willingness to keep on learning and a desire to pursuing a career in the aquatics industry is also what we are looking for.
YMCA Swim School operates 7 days a week and we are looking for people who are available Monday to Friday 9am-2pm and 3-5.30pm, Saturdays 9am to 1pm and or Sundays 8.30-2.30pm.
All Swim Teachers working at any of our Aquatic Centres must have a current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certificate. Please talk to us if you don’t have this qualification but are considering working in the aquatic industry.

We are now recruiting casual lifeguards to work at our 3 centres. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work at Clarence pool, Glenorchy Pool and Barossa Park Wellness Centre. If you have what it takes to be part of Tasmania’s most experienced team of lifeguards and can see yourself overseeing the sun baked crowds at Glenorchy this summer, being part of the family friendly atmosphere at Clarence or want to experience cutting edge technology pool at Barossa Park; then we would invite you to apply
What are we looking for:
We are looking for people who love working as part of team, enjoy deliver exceptional customer service and committed to providing a safe and fun environment. We are looking for team members who have broad summer availability including weekends, public holidays and are flexible to work at any of our Aquatic Centres.
All lifeguards working at any of our Aquatic Centres must have a current Pool Lifeguard certificate. Please talk to us if you don’t have this qualification but are considering working in the aquatic industry.
